Accessing student email by a direct link to MySite

Graphic showing the address bar of the Microsoft Internet Explorer web browser. Open the browser and, in the address bar (at the top of the browser window), type https://my.adamsmith.ac.uk (to access your MySite) or https://learn.adamsmith.ac.uk (to access the Learning and Teaching Gateway).

Note:

  • Remember the s in https.
  • There is no www in the address.

When you get to your MySite login screen use the steps below to login: Graphic of login dialogue box which asks for username and password.

  1. Type your username: This is your full college email address in the format: studentIDnumber@student.adamsmith.ac.uk.

    For example 0123452@student.adamsmith.ac.uk.

  2. Type in your Password. If this is your first time type your initial password as given by your tutor, otherwise enter whatever password you use to log into the system within the college.
  3. Press OK.
