Adam Smith Students get insight into local company

Four Adam Smith College students from Libya who are currently studying for a Diploma in Operations Management, took time out to visit Tokheim (UK) Ltd, one of the world's leading manufacturers and servicers of fuel dispensing equipment, in Dundee recently. The students, who work for the Harough Oil Company in Libya which is a joint venture operator on behalf of Libya’s National Oil Corporation and Petro-Canada, found it to be most productive.

Adam Smith College staff gathered at the College’s St. Brycedale Campus in Kirkcaldy this week for a special welcome back from Principal Dr Craig Thomson. The 850 staff of the college came together at a time when the future looks challenging for the college sector with a huge demand for college places and the prospect of cuts in funding.
