I’m Gordon Ramsay – and I’m totally Adam Smith!
10 November 2009
Gordon Ramsay, The Hairy Bikers and James Martin - just a few of the celebrity chefs students and staff from Adam Smith College found themselves rubbing shoulders with at the recent BBC Good Food Show held at Glasgow’s SECC.

The College’s own culinary wizard Eadie Manson, his sidekick catering student "Spoonie" and an array of their chef friends drew huge crowds to their stand with their mouth watering demonstrations over the three days of the show, making the college stand busier than ever. Training from the college’s Skills for Scotland project partners and a visit from 70 hospitality students and staff made the event not only entertaining, but an inspiring learning experience.
The College’s CREATE team were also out in force, networking and filming upwards of 40 learning objects, capturing not only the College and partner’s chefs demonstrations (coming soon to "cook along" on Adam Smith TV) but also gaining exclusive access to the UK’s leading chefs who gave their views on training, the hospitality industry and importance of a great education for a sustainable career.
All of the chefs were more than willing to help out and prove they're "Totally Adam Smith" when they heard about the College and its “Skills for Scotland” training project.
To watch the chefs interviews in full alongside detailed recipes from the event visit www.adamsmithcollege.tv, over the next few weeks. Celebrity Chefs featured include: James Martin, Tom Kitchin, Martin Wishart, Nick Nairn, the Hairy Bikers and Gordon Ramsay.
