From Nova Scotia to Lake Titicaca: a Shipbuilders Tale

Adam Smith College will be hosting a lecture on Naval Architecture next Friday morning at the St Brycedale Campus, Kirkcaldy. Les Dickson, Commercial Director, Northern Europe, Serimax, will deliver the lecture which will be very interesting and give a fantastic insight into his career path which has spanned from being an apprentice draughtsman to working on the design and building of ships from Liverpool to Canada!

Sandy Boiling, Adam Smith College Shipbuilding Lecturer said. “This event will be of particular interest to those in the shipbuilding and Naval architectural fields, from students to qualified personnel. It’s a really good opportunity to hear Les share his experiences and knowledge, the event is free for those who wish to attend and can book their place by emailing me at sandyboiling@adamsmith.ac.uk
