"Someone once said to me that they'd never seen a female electrician – I wanted to prove them wrong! You get the odd remark about being a girl but I applied four times for this apprenticeship and nothing will hold me back. This is my second year and I love it. I come to College one day a week and this helps me sharpen my skills, bringing the theory and practice together."
