NC Higher NC Acting and Theatre Performance

This new SQA Group Award has been developed to offer students an intensive and practical course which will prepare them for further study at HNC/D and/or degree level. The course is also ideal for those with experience, who want a formal national qualification in Drama.

Practical Projects

You may have the opportunity to gain Higher Drama as part of the course and will be involved in our in-house and touring performance projects, for which this College has had an excellent reputation for many years.

Entry Requirements

One of the following:

  • 4 Standard Grades including English and Drama
  • Evidence of experience in Youth Theatre/ school plays
  • Experience or other qualifications will be considered on an individual basis

Entry to degree courses in Performing Arts is by audition therefore formal articulation routes do not exist, apart from UWS.
