NC Intermediate 2 to Higher Graphic and Digital Design

This course introduces you to the theory and practice of creative graphic design and illustration. It focuses on the development of skills required for design and presentation in corporate identity, brochures, posters, web pages, magazines and advertising. You will build a varied portfolio of work as you develop skills in many different aspects of illustration and design.

Practical Projects

Throughout the course, students will undertake a range of exciting and varied practical projects. Starting with a design brief, participants will create design ideas by applying theoretical, investigative, problem solving and technical skills. These practical projects provide an excellent opportunity to explore a variety of media in a creative way.

Entry Requirements

4 Standard Grades including English and an Art related subject at Grade 3 or above.

 

Further Study

On completion, students can progress onto a wide range of advanced courses in Graphic Design, Media Design, Interactive Multimedia, Television Production, and Animation.
